Conversion to Support Vehicles: After the fall of France, the UE was captured by Germany and converted into various support vehicles, such as the Gepanzerte-MG-Träger Renault UE(f), which was used as a machine gun carrying support vehicle. Military Modifications: The vehicle received modifications for different roles, including being armed with machine guns, antitank guns, and rocket artillery. Some were equipped with external mounts for the MG 34 machine gun and reinforced towing apparatus for larger guns.
